Lisle Uncorked, A Wine Event will take place on Saturday, August 27th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with Early Entry tickets being offered for 3:00 p.m. entry.
Lisle Uncorked will be taking place at Museums at Lisle Station Park, 921 School Street, Lisle. Enjoy wine tastings, live music entertainment, beer, and food.

AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Tom Thornton
Tom Thornton of Your Promo Partners is July's featured Ambassador. Tom has been a Chamber for over 10 years. For the past 3 years, he has owned Your Promo Partners. As the owner, Tom wears many hats and his main focus is on sales and customer service. He has been in the printing industry for over 25 years and used to work for a company in Chicago that printed large display graphics for trade shows and exhibits. Tom's clients include Shedd Aquarium, United Center and Musuem of Science and Industry.
Tom is on the Chamber Board of Directors and Executive Board. He is active on several Committees in addition to the Ambassador Committee. He is the Chair of the Wine Committee and is also on the Ale Fest, LINCT, Golf and Dinner Dance Committees. Tom enjoys being an Ambassador because he can meet new Chamber members and help them get started in the Chamber. Being an Ambassador has helped him make a lot of great contacts. Many turn into long time clients and/or give him referrals. Of course, he makes a lot of great friends too.
Tom has lived in Lisle for 22 years and has three adult children and two German Shepherds. He volunteers for pet rescues like German Shepherd Rescue and Almost Home Foundation. He enjoys going on hiking trips with his his dogs, Gunner and Thor. Tom has always thought it's important to set goals to work towards. If you do not you're all over the place and nothing gets accomplished. He thinks the quote from Zig Ziglar sums it up best: "If you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time."

Marquette, headquartered in Naperville, Illinois, develops, acquires and manages garden, mid-rise and high-rise properties throughout Illinois as well as` Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, Tennessee and Texas. The company is also developer of Water Street, a mixed-use retail, restaurant and hotel district in Downtown Naperville.
“This is the Chicagoland Apartment Association’s version of the Oscars – very prestigious industry award ceremony. We are so proud that eight properties and three individuals on our team were singled out for awards. A total of 55 awards were presented, with Marquette winning ten. Accolades for individuals went to Marquette Associates Natalie Rush, Leasing Manager at Monroe Aberdeen Place, Chicago; Annette Kaune, Leasing Professional at the Preserve at Cantera, Warrenville and Door Staff Professional Bridget Napiorkowski at Catalyst, Chicago. The Maintenance Team at the Preserve at Cantera in Warrenville was also recognized.
Awards for Community Leasing Center went to Catalyst, Chicago; Renovation of an Exterior above $1 Million went to Atrio, Chicago, while the Mil’Ton in Vernon Hills won awards for Renovation of an Exterior below $1 Million as well as Unit Renovation The biggest awards are for Property Excellence. Six awards were presented, including to HighPoint Community Apartments in Romeoville for a Low-Rise/Garden Property Built between 1997-2013; and to Marq on Main in Lisle for Property Excellence for a Mid-Rise/Hi-Rise Property Built between 2014-2020.
