AI has been called, “the new electricity,” and 9.5 out of 10 CEOs expect their job to be disrupted by it. One study predicts nearly half of all jobs will be automated within 15 years. Overwhelmed at the thought of so much change? So are your clients, unless they’re not yet aware of its scale. Our speakers, who combine engineering and coaching certifications, have developed coaching models that encapsulate methods for bringing individuals and organizations to greater levels of resilience.

Committee Spotlight: Communications
The communications committee is looking for folks who want to connect with fellow coaches and help spread the word regarding all things ICF Austin!

If you’d like to know who you would be working with, here’s some fun things to know about our Communications Director, Jennie Loev (pronounced "love"):

Why did you join ICF Austin?
To connect with Austin’s amazing coaches.
What is your #1 goal for the communications committee during your tenure as communications director?
I’m excited and eager to increase the connectedness of our coaching community through increased engagement and online support for one another.

Why coaching?
The warm, friendly community and the beautiful outdoors. There are so many places to connect with nature in the Austin area.

What is your favorite place to visit in and around Austin?
Laguna Gloria and Mayfield Park. Between the beautiful, quirky, and interesting sculpture garden to the peacocks, they’re two of our best kept secrets.

Share something about you that might surprise others.
I love animals and I have “adopted” a wild squirrel that I have named Almondine (technically, she adopted me). I feed her almonds while she sits on my leg. Occasionally, my cat, Ali, joins us.

Each month, we’ll spotlight a committee so you can learn more about what’s going on with our chapter, our board members, and our current volunteers.

We encourage you to join a committee to further your connection with your fellow coaches in meaningful ways. If you want to join the communications committee, Jennie Loev would love (pun intended) to hear from you at communications@icfaustin.org.
