The MWMC is a proud partner in the Springfield History Museum's Springfield H2Oh! exhibit, which is now open to the public.
The exhibit provides an opportunity to explore Springfield's water systems, including connection to the MWMC's regional wastewater treatment plant where water from throughout all of Springfield and Eugene is cleaned and then returned to the Willamette River.
The H2Oh! exhibit also shares information and artifacts related to Springfield's water history, the
City's stormwater system, the
Springfield Utility Board's drinking water system, the water workforce, pollution prevention tips and resources, and more. The exhibit offers a fun water quality laboratory for kids complete with play microscopes and lab coats, as well as interactive elements for all ages.
Head to Downtown Springfield to check out the fun and learn more about the one water we all share! The Springfield History Museum is open Thursday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the H2Oh! exhibit will run through December 31, 2022.
