The Nature Trust of BC’s 2022 fall Gala is our moment to come together, to see one another again, to share stories and to raise much needed funds for conservation.
We are stepping up to meet the twin crises of biodiversity loss and climate change through nature-based solutions. We are purchasing, protecting and caring for ecologically significant wetlands, grasslands and forests that are home to species at risk and play a critical role as carbon capture “sinks”.
We need your help to continue this important work.
We have an ambitious goal for our Working with Nature Gala Matching Gifts Campaign: to raise $500,000 by our Gala night.
The first $250,000 we raise will be matched thanks to the generosity of Dick and Val Bradshaw, the Grayross Foundation, and the Krogseth Foundation who have come together to help us launch our Working with Nature Campaign.
As a land trust, we often get asked why some of our properties allow for recreation while others do not. While it is important to remember that conservation areas are not parks, we also understand the importance of giving people the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the natural beauty of our amazing province.
