Romania, 1989. Cristian Florescu dreams of becoming a writer, but he can't, not in a communist country ruled by the tyrannical dictator, Nicolae Ceaușescu. As part of the revolution, he aims to give a voice to his fellow Romanians. But what, exactly, is the cost of freedom, and is Cristian willing to pay it?
