Between New Orleans

and Baton Rouge

Our 30,000 Square foot museum tells the stories about Life on the Mississippi River between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Our Enslaved Exhibit tells the story of Slavery from its origins to freedom in the South. Wax figures in period clothing portray life in the 18th and 19th Centuries. This "Not to be Missed" Museum is both educational and entertaining.

Live Music in Dixie Café

Both Dancing in Dixie and Rhythms in Dixie will be going on summer break! Dancing in Dixie will have two more performances on July 7th and July 14th prior to its break. Rhythms in Dixie will not have any performances in July.
