A Howling Good Time
October 25 - Nov. 1, 2023
Founded in 1987, the annual Harvest Moon Regatta event has grown from under 20 boats to over 200. The 150-nautical mile race begins at the Pleasure Pier in Galveston. The route follows the Texas coast to Port Aransas. Over the course of 2 days and 2 nights, the beautiful harvest moon dominates the night sky. This is the perfect opportunity to add to your sailing certifications. The full moon is Saturday, October 28.
Our current plans are to register our Norseman 400 catamaran Reality Check. ASA certifications are going to be achievable during the race to Port Aransas (Wednesday, Oct. 25 - Sunday, Oct. 29) and on the return trip from Port A to Seabrook (Saturday, Oct. 28- Wednesday, Nov. 1). Participation in the awards dinner included on Saturday, Oct. 28.
- ASA 106 (Advanced Coastal Cruising) during the race to Port Aransas.
- ASA 103/104 (Basic Coastal Cruising & Bareboat Chartering) on the return.
- ASA 114 (Cruising Catamaran) both during the race and on the return trip.
A $500 non-refundable deposit per person is due to reserve your spot.

Stay warm inside and out - Join us for an ultimate bucket list adventure! Sail away and explore the stunning 55+ islands and cays that comprise the BVI’s! Cruising sailors were among the first to realize this was one of nature's little secrets. The British Virgin Islands is a "sailor's paradise"! We've been leading the flotilla to these islands for more than 15 years. Every year we discover new favorites and reunite with old ones.
We already have spaces reserved and are accepting deposits for the trip! A $500
non-refundable deposit per person is due immediately for priority boat and cabin preference. ASA certifications will be available: ASA 103, 104, 114 & NEW 116 (Dinghy & Outboard Motor Endorsement). The cost is $250 per certification plus the cost of the textbook and shipping.

A $1000 non-refundable deposit per person is due immediately for priority boat and cabin preference. Take advantage of early bird registration and get priority cabin selection. ASA certifications will be available: ASA 103, 104, 114 & NEW 116 (Dinghy & Outboard Motor Endorsement). The cost is $300 per certification plus the cost of the textbook and shipping.
