Happy 4th of July Lisle! Summer is here and things have heated up. I hope you enjoyed the Lisle Uncorked Wine Event, the Kiwanis Club of Lisle’s Car Show, strolled the downtown and had a chance to see the Warhol themed scenery. Our downtown is a great place to be this time of year.
Vacations are in full swing, summer sports are happening and the real estate market in town is going strong. It is a little lopsided with more buyers than there are homes on the market. This will create a longer spring and summer market than usual. Why? Because there will be unsatisfied buyers still looking for that special place to call home.
July has another big Chamber event happening. It is the Annual Golf Outing at Seven Bridges Golf Club on July 18th. I hope you sign up and take advantage of the Early Bird prices before the rates go up. There are spots left to advertise your business. This is a great opportunity so don’t pass it up. AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Chirag Darji
This month's featured Ambassador is Chirag Darji. Chirag is the Owner/CEO of DnD Transfers, a payment processing and merchant services provider for all businesses. He personally oversees each account, from the initial stages to the application process and he is the main point of contact for any support related items for his merchants. Chirag has been in this business for 2 years.
Chirag has recently joined the Lisle Area Chamber. In addition to the Ambassador Committee, Chirag is involved with the LINCT Committee. Since he has recently joined the Ambassador Committee, it has been a fun experience for him so far. He has been able to meet a lot of people and the networking opportunities continue to grow. He is working on networking, building his brand, and sharing with everyone that he is in the business of payment processing to put money back into owners pockets.
Chirag lives in Woodridge with his wife Palak, and they have 2 small children, Dhruval (5) and Divya (2). When Chirag is not working, he loves to explore parks and recreational activites and focus on building a balance in life between fun and education for his kids. Chirag's believes success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself. Success will never be determined by position or status, but rather the obstacles you overcome to achieve it.

This award-winning site serves as a beautiful back drop to this colorful, open-air market that runs on Saturdays from May 6 through October 14, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vendors change weekly, so each market is a unique experience. Free parking is available in the Garfield Parking Lot, Main Street and the Commuter Parking Lots off of Burlington Avenue. There is no admission charge, so bring the whole family; service animals and pets in carriers are welcome. Diverse offerings include:

It was a beautiful sunny day for the Lisle Area Chamber’s Lisle Uncorked, A Wine Event at Museums at Lisle Station Park. There was great wine, beer, food, music, wine glass painting, and fun. We thank all of our Sponsors and Volunteers for helping make this event the success that it was. A special shout out to Claudine Rummer for all the extra effort she always puts into the Chamber events.

The Independence Day Celebrations kick off on Monday, July 3rd with the Lisle Park District’s Summer Entertainment Series at the Van Kampen Stage in Lisle Community Park and fireworks presented by the Village of Lisle that will take place at 9:30pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase and parking is VERY limited. The 4th of July Parade & Ice Cream Social will begin at 10:00am at Lisle Junior High School and will proceed through downtown Lisle, ending at Village Hall. The Lisle Heritage Society will have their annual Ice Cream Social at The Museums at Lisle Station Park immediately following the parade at 10:45am. The Lisle Community Band will be there playing patriotic music. We hope you can join in the festivities!
