Happy 4th of July! This is the long weekend we have all been waiting for. It's the perfect time of year when the days are hot enough to run in the sprinkler or take a dip in the lake or the pool, but not so hot we cannot take the heat. That being said, we hang up our “gone fishing” sign and pause our networking events again this month to let everyone enjoy the summer. But don't worry, we'll be back with a full calendar of events in August for CoWorking Month! Our kickoff on August 3rd will be a breakfast networking event in conjunction with the Woodbury Chamber. Look for more events to be on our website soon.

Last month, we celebrated our 42nd year of serving the Twin Cities business community, and are still the largest CoWorking space in MN. We are honored that you continue to refer your friends and family to OC, and will continue to pay you referral bonuses for your loyalty. With June's lighter event calendar, our focus switched to supporting OneCommunity Partners at two golf events. First, the Randy Shaver Gala and Golf Classic on June 3, where they raised over 450k in two days to support the Minnesota cancer community. Later in the month, we sponsored lucky hole 13 at the Give Hope Golf Tournament, supporting families facing food insecurities, mental illness, and substance abuse. Lots of sun, lots of golf and lots of good.

OffiCenters will be closed on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4. Go out and enjoy the great weather and have some fun in the sun. Every year, I have a childhood memory of a lady in the neighborhood calling out to my dad, “Happy 4th of July, Billy!” It always makes Lea and I smile. So, in memory of him, Happy 4th of July!

The Shops at West End announced they are hosting a Farmer's and Artisan Market. The market will take place every Wednesday from 4-8PM during the summer, ending September 13. The market will feature more than 15 different vendors with fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, crafts, food trucks and live music. Dogs and children are welcome. Take the West End Shuttle to every Twins game in July and August! Shop or dine in the West End before the game and get a FREE roundtrip ride. Park for free on the fourth or fifth floors of the 1621 West End Parking Ramp. Do The Shaver Shuffle

Just coming off their Gala and Golf Classic where, in two days, over $450K was raised to support MN cancer community, the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund is getting ready for their next big event, The Shaver Shuffle! Their annual 5K can be done in person on August 5 or virtually any day of the month in August. Talk to your family and friends and put together a team! Fishing for Life

The 13th Annual Jesus in the City / Fishing For Life Urban and Suburban Pastors Fishing Tournament will be held on August 8. This event introduces suburban Pastors to the needs of the urban communities of Minneapolis and St. Paul through fishing. Along with their Pro Guide, Pastors head out on Lake Minnetonka and compete for biggest Bass, Northern, Walleye, Muskie and Panfish. After fishing, they enjoy a shore lunch and fellowship.
