WHITE HOUSE BY THE SEA: A CENTURY OF THE KENNEDYS AT HYANNIS PORT
By Kate Storey
| |
To know me is to know that I will read almost every book we get in the store about the Kennedy family, and this one is no exception! Meticulously researched and written by an editor at Rolling Stone; we learn about the Kennedys' one-hundred years in Hyannis Port and the events we know so well, as told through the lens of “The Compound”. Intimate, personal and so well done, I particularly enjoyed learning about all their neighbors and friends in the neighborhood. Don’t miss it!

The characters and dialogue in this book are flush with humor, compassion, empathy and most of all humanity. TALKING AT NIGHT
by Claire Daverley
I loved this love story. These two very different people are meant to be together, but over the years life’s realities keep getting in their way. You keep hoping maybe this time. It was a page turner for me because who doesn’t want to know if they get together or not. No fluff here, just a great love story.

(direct to paperback)
True to form, Rimmer offers a well researched, nuanced historical fiction novel based on two incredibly strong female characters. A duel timeline narrative set during and after the war, this novel is a poignant portrayal of the good and bad of humanity, the life agents and double agents lead and the power of female friendship.
