Summer Arts & Crafts for Adults
Before the spring/summer semester comes to a close, SAS has three more arts & crafts classes yet to begin.

This Tuesday, July 18, 2023, spend the day with Robin Ingram and Learn to Make a Summer Tray Basket (Course 11742). All weaving materials will be provided and at the end of the session, students will bring home a finished serving piece, ideal for patio parties.

On Monday, July 31, 2023, Katie Goldberg begins Mixed Media Demystified (Course 11936), a three week course for novices and experts alike. Students will be exposed to different techniques in monoprinting, collage, assemblage, mark making, and painting as they create multi-layered unique artworks.

Just added to the catalog, Introduction to Beadweaving (Course 12092) will debut on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. New instructor Carmelina Calabrese will teach students how to create beaded jewelry using a needle and thread. Learn some of the basic stitches, such as right angle weave, peyote, and flat spiral over three weekly sessions.
