Cook County Launches Discount Card

for Veterans, Military Personnel

The Cook County Clerk’s Office is excited to promote the Cook County Military & Veterans Discount Card Program. This initiative, led by the Veteran Services Department, not only provides our veterans and military members with a token of appreciation but also offers local businesses a unique opportunity to increase their customer base through exclusive discounts.

Free White Sox Tickets for Veterans & Military Members

The Cook County Clerk’s Office is teaming up with the Chicago White Sox to offer Cook County veterans and active-duty military personnel who are already enrolled or who sign up for the discount card a free ticket to a regular-season White Sox game for the 2024 season.

Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF)



Offered by the Department of Planning and Development (DPD) to tenants and owners of industrial and commercial properties, SBIF grants are funded by Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenues in designated TIF districts.



Program participants can receive grants to cover from 30 to 90 percent of the cost of pre-approved remodeling work, with a maximum grant of $150,000 for commercial properties and $250,000 for industrial properties. Click to learn more about the program.
