We’re excited to share that the Palmetto Care Connections (PCC) and South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Digital Literacy Project is making a difference in our communities! PCC’s Ashlee Parra, Jessica Samuel, and Tracey Scott distributed 23 tablets in Greenville County at Upstate AHEC, 22 tablets at Anderson County Library System and 23 tablets in Columbia, SC
Each tablet is pre-loaded with our comprehensive Digital Literacy curriculum, covering tablet basics, internet basics, cybersecurity, and email basics, with a special focus on health literacy and telehealth. Participants also receive one year of internet service to ensure they can stay connected and informed. Stay tuned as we continue to bridge the digital divide and empower our community with essential digital skills!
