We hope this email finds you enjoying long days with family and friends, new experiences, and meals with piles of fresh tomatoes, basil, corn, and homemade ice cream. Who doesn’t love summer and the beautifully slower pace that comes with it?
This summer, I have had the blissful opportunity to spend more time with my nearly one-year-old grandson, Kai, and his parents (daughter Courtney and fiancé Nate), who have moved to Marin County. When I am not selling real estate, I spend as much time as possible in my garden, working on my golf game, and enjoying Lake Tahoe with our extended family.
This month, our team wished Shiloh Gordon well as he transitioned to being a full-time dad and going back to school to become a counselor for at-risk youth. We will miss Shiloh’s energy and heart, but we are happy for him as he follows his true calling.

Some 2Q 2024 highlights:
- $3M + home sales were up 39% year over year and hit the highest quarterly total since spring 2022, the end of the pandemic boom.
- $5M + sales were up 36.5% year over year. June 2024 had the highest monthly sales total since May 2022.
- $10M + home sales were up 31% YOY and was the highest quarterly count since the peak of the pandemic boom.
- To date, in 2024, Compass listing agents represented 47% of Bay Area properties worth $10M+ and 34% of properties worth $5M+.
- Cities with the highest numbers of millionaires and billionaires—SF Bay Area is ranked #2 worldwide with 305,700 millionaires (up +82% from 2012 – 2023) and #1 with 68 billionaires.
