The City of Beavercreek invites you to celebrate Independence Day with an evening full of fun activities for the entire family on Thursday, July 4, from 6 to 10:30 p.m.
The celebration will begin with a parade at 6 p.m. The parade route will start at the intersection of Meadow Bridge Drive and Dayton-Xenia Road, proceed east on Dayton-Xenia Road, and end near Beavercreek High School.
Following the parade, the excitement will continue at Rotary Park, located at 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road, where a variety of activities are planned beginning at 7 p.m. Attendees can enjoy live music and entertainment by Velvet Crush, children’s inflatables, and an array of food trucks. The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks show presented by The Joshi Family, beginning at 10 p.m.

Community Conversations
with City Council
Beavercreek City Council invites you to Community Conversations with City Council, where you can meet with council members to discuss ideas, projects, and city services. Everyone is welcome! The first one will be held on Tuesday, July 30, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Lofino Plaza, 3868 Dayton-Xenia Road.

City Begins Stormwater Mitigation Project Near Willowcrest Road
Community members may have noticed construction activity along Grange Hall Road, near Willowcrest Road. The City of Beavercreek has initiated a $2.1 million project to address longstanding stormwater issues in the area, predominantly affecting Willowcrest Road in the Woodhaven subdivision and its surrounding neighborhoods.

Construction Continues on
Vineland Trail to Address Stormwater and Erosion Issues
Construction work continues along Vineland Trail to mitigate stormwater and erosion problems.
Stormwater and erosion have led to the formation of a large ditch with steep drop-offs and exposed utilities behind several homes on Vineland Trail, which is located north of The Greene and off County Line Road.

Veteran Memorial Brick Program
Did you know you can honor a veteran by purchasing a brick to be placed at the city's Veteran Memorial Park, located at 1911 North Fairfield Road? Brick space is available for all who served in the United States military. The memorial is dedicated to all veterans who served the U.S., living or deceased. The deadline to purchase a brick for installation by Veterans Day 2024 is August 31, 2024.

No, we aren't kidding! Experience yoga while laughing, playing, and cuddling with goats. Although it's rare, the goats might nibble on items like yoga mats or clothing. We recommend bringing an old yoga mat or beach towel, and wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Participants will receive a blank hardback book to embellish and colorful polymer clay to create mini figures from their stories. This workshop is perfect for children who love merfolk, arts, and crafts. Participants will create marine-themed pottery, jewelry, mixed media paintings, keychains, and drawings, with all projects except pottery ready to take home the same day. Pottery will be available for pickup two weeks later.

Become a Transportation Volunteer!
If you are looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity, sign up to be a transportation volunteer for the Beavercreek Senior Center and provide essential transportation for local seniors. As a volunteer, you'll be part of a dynamic duo, driving vans equipped to assist seniors without the need for a CDL. Each van team consists of a driver and an escort, ensuring that seniors are safely assisted on and off the van, wheelchairs are secured, trips are tracked using tablets, fees are collected, and more.

Beavercreek Golf Club Begins Phase 2 of Bunker Renovation
The Beavercreek Golf Club is preparing to begin the second phase of its extensive bunker renovation project. This three-phase initiative, designed to be completed in 2025, will revitalize all bunkers on the course, ensuring they complement the course’s existing contours, reduce maintenance needs, and enhance playability.
The project’s phased approach was strategically planned to manage the club’s budget effectively and accommodate its busy golf schedule. Phase two, which will take approximately four to six weeks to complete, will focus on bunkers on holes six, seven, eight, and potentially one additional hole.
