Avocados Get Hot

It's been hot and there is leaf damage. Those damaged leaves can protect the tree now and the fruit. Don't prune the trees until you see the full extent of the damage and can still use those dead leaves to protect the rest of the tree. Fruit drop happens soon after, or slowly, depressingly over several weeks after a heat wave. Read the full article here...

Back in the early 1990s the California Cherimoya Association decided to put together all their knowledge about the fruit and plant - from history to pollination and costs of production. There are numerous authors who are steeped in love of the fruit. It took several years to bring this all together. finalizing in 1995. It was only available to members of the Association, but now it's available on-line.
