June 21st—August 23rd
Join the fun this summer with Sturgis Library’s Adult and Young Adult Summer Reading Challenge! The goal is simple: read a little each day and track your minutes to earn rewards, raffle entries, and bragging rights!
What counts? Books, eBooks, audiobooks, and graphic novels.
What doesn’t? Magazines, newspapers, and online content.
Pick up a Reading Log at the circulation desk to get started, and unlock milestone prizes like vinyl stickers, button pins, magnetic bookmarks, and raffle entries for awesome prizes, including gift certificates to The Buttercup Café!
For bonus raffle entries, stop by our Community Board and respond to fun weekly prompts like: “What book do you always recommend?” or “What quote stuck with you this week?”

This program aims to offer a comprehensive understanding of normal aging, the typical forgetfulness associated with aging, and more severe memory issues.
As individuals grow older, it is common for subtle alterations in memory to take place as a natural aspect of the aging process. Nevertheless, there are instances when these changes manifest earlier or progress more rapidly than one might expect.

| | New Rechargeable Weed Trimmer Available Soon! | |
We have recently acquired an Ego Cordless Rechargeable String Weed Trimmer for our patrons to borrow. This powerful trimmer is easy to use and better for the environment since it uses no gasoline. It will be available to borrow in July!
We have also doubled the battery size of our two cordless rechargeable Ego leaf blowers, which allows you to use it for twice as long between recharges.
Both the leaf blowers and the string trimmer were donated to the Library by Vince DeFelice. We are very grateful for his generosity and his commitment to a cleaner environment on Cape Cod.
