San Jose Conservation Corps (SJCC): Youth Climate Corps

We’re excited to be a participating site with the Youth Climate Corps, a new internship program SJCC launched this summer for high school students exploring careers in the environmental field. 

Their first cohort joined us on-site during our community orchard workday on June 25, and we’re looking forward to welcoming the second group on August 6 for our Historic Orchard workday. We're proud to support the next generation of climate leaders!

Futsal Tournament @Arena Green East

Saturday, Aug 2nd - 10:00am to 5:00pm

Did you miss out on our previous futsal tournament? Come by and watch this one day knockout tournament. This time we are running a youth futsal tournament! We are extremely excited to provide a safe space for the community and encourage the next generation of ballers! (Rescheduled from July 19th)

Zumba in the Park with Yadira Vargas

Saturday, Aug 16th - 10:00am to 11:00am

Join us at the Confluence Plaza at Arena Green for a free 1-hr Zumba session! Move your body to the music and enjoy the outdoor vibe with experienced instructor Yadira Vargas! Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water, and wear sun protection. It's going to be a great time!

Yoga in the Park with Lavina Jagwani

Saturday, Aug 16th - 11:30am to 12:30pm

Join us at Arena Green West for a free 1-hr Yoga session in the park! Ground yourself and connect in our urban oasis with our instructor Lavina Jagwani! We will have limited yoga mats to loan at no charge, but recommend bringing your own. Wear comfortable clothing, sun protection, bring water, and be prepared for a relaxing time!
