Members at Anthony's Foods in Meeker, OK voted to organize a Union in April 2024. Workers, who stock shelves and work in the produce, dairy, and frozen food divisions at the store, joined UFCW Local 1000 because they were concerned about job security and wanted a voice in the workplace. 

Members ratified their first Collective Bargaining Agreement which went into effect in June and are looking forward to the included benefits of employee representation, job security, stable work hours, and other guarantees written in black in white in the new CBA.

The Homeland Annual Charitable Fundraiser took place May 7th through June 17th.

Congratulations to Local 1000 members who worked hard for 6 weeks to raise money for this important cause!

Participate in a research study to explore how frontline retail employees in the U. S. describe using emergency strategies and maintenance strategies to manage pressures in the workplace.

The study is being conducted virtually by a doctoral student at Grand Canyon University.
