Happy Independence Day!
"What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly." Thomas Paine's words remind us on Independence Day to reflect on how fragile the American experiment really is. Will we always have the freedoms envisioned by our nations Founders?
We've witnessed those freedoms being chipped away and our liberties restricted under Covid. We are in disbelief when we read how some European nations have allowed restrictions and limitations on their speech and freedoms to insidiously destroy their culture and values. We look to our own major cities and wonder how chaos is allowed to spread - all in the name of toxic Socialism.
Freedoms slip away too easily when we ignore or fail to push back against a local school board's actions or the county commissioners' decisions where your voice and your club's influence are strongest. If you're not being heard, perhaps it's time you ran for office.
Since 1775, the American soldier has fought to bring us freedom and to assure peace to countries around the world. Our nation is under attack from within. Our Founding Fathers warned us, and we are reminded in oaths, to defend "against all enemies, foreign and domestic."
But we are not "summer soldiers," nor are we "sunshine patriots," and we do not take freedom and liberty for granted. We stand up for what is right and stand firmly against what we know is wrong, no matter who it offends.
America 250 is almost here. Stand with the Republican women of NCFRW and your sisters in NFRW clubs across the nation to keep America strong. Eternal vigilance is the price of Liberty!

Every two years, NFRW women from across the nation elect a new leadership team, and this year we will hold that election during our Biennial Convention in Orlando at Rosen's Shingle Creek.
Here's what you can expect at the biennial convention - great speakers, training sessions, presentation of Club Achievement Awards, National awards for Literacy, Caring for America, Armed Services and other special awards.
At the Spring NFRW meeting, the Board voted to offer an Early-Bird Registration fee of only $300, available until July 2. Take advantage of that Early-Bird offer.
TIP: Some clubs fundraise to help offset the cost of attending conventions.
Above all else, it is wonderful to be with other like-minded women who love God and Country and are committed to protecting our nation. And we have fun!

It's the Law!
County Boards of Elections Seek Volunteers to assist residents in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
County Boards of Elections seek qualified individuals affiliated with the Republican and Democrat party to help with Multi- Partisan Assistance Teams before Election Day.
MAT teams go into assisted living and skilled nursing facilities to help residents vote. They help with the entire process, from registering to vote, requesting an absentee ballot, and voting and returning their absentee ballot. It is most common for facilities to contact the Board of Elections for assistance as they are not comfortable nor required to help residents.

Republicans are gaining ground in North Carolina! As of June 7, there are 2,288,724 Republicans and 2,309,541 Democrats registered to vote in NC, giving the Democrats a lead of only 20,817 overall. Join us in our efforts to help close the gap and get more Republicans elected in Wake County!
The first update from the month of June shows the Republican Party is just 20,817 voters away from passing the Democrats.
We need your help!
This summer, let's put the pedal to the floor. That means registering new Republican voters at festivals and community events. This is our time to make North Carolina HISTORY!

Tip: Growing your club
Two main reasons that members give for joining our clubs and our federation:
- They are personally fulfilled by the activities your club offers them.
- They are proud to support what your club does, even if they are not personally involved.
Create events or opportunities that give women a reason to join and participate: friendly meetings, good speakers, volunteer or community projects like Caring for America, Armed Services, Literacy and others.
The key: Consistent engagement! Communicate on a regular basis, possibly through a newsletter. If you have a FaceBook page, "X" account or other public media, create posts they can "like" or "share" and feature projects and events sponsored by your club.
Your passion and enthusiasm are contagious.
Everyone wants to part of a winning team!

2025 NCGOP Convention
NCGOP's 2025 Convention was held at the Koury Center in Greensboro. NCGOP Chair Jason Simmons and his team did an outstanding job and made this a convention to remember.
Special guests and speakers at the events included: Glen Youngkin, Bernie Moreno, Linda McMahon, Ralph Reed, and RNC Co-Chair Michael Whatley.
