Summer Ministry Update

As I sit down to write this article, we’ve just wrapped up a wonderful week of Boys’ Camp. We had 14 campers join us, along with some incredible Camp Missionaries. I’m especially grateful to Pastor Aaron Moore, who served as our Camp Pastor. His nightly messages were both encouraging and challenging for our campers. I also want to recognize our Summer Missionary, Molly Posey. She has faithfully served at all of our camps this summer, and it’s clear that the Lord is working powerfully through her.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the churches that came and served meals over the past few weeks. Every meal was thoroughly enjoyed, and your service was truly appreciated.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for our upcoming Day Camp, which begins July 7th. There’s still time to register children ages 5–7, so please spread the word!

I’m also preparing to travel with a team from Penia Baptist Church to Peru from June 27–July 4. Please keep us in your prayers as we go to share testimonies and preach the Gospel. Pray that God will use our team to encourage others and to bring the hope of Christ wherever we go.

This season has also allowed me the blessing of attending several Vacation Bible Schools. I’m encouraged to report that many churches have seen increased attendance compared to last year. I’m looking forward to hearing all the stories and reports from churches that hosted VBS this summer.

It continues to be a joy and an honor to serve this great Association. I regularly lift up our pastors and churches in prayer, asking God to move in powerful ways as we strive together to be healthy churches making an eternal impact for the Kingdom.
