Stuff the Bus – Get Involved!

We’re gearing up for Stuff the Bus, and we need your help to make it a success! There are several ways to get involved—whether by volunteering your time, adopting a student or classroom, or donating school supplies and funds.

Volunteers are essential to collecting, sorting, and distributing supplies. Adopters play a key role in ensuring local students start the school year prepared and confident. Donations of school supplies and monetary contributions are also greatly needed and make a direct impact in our community.

Together, we can make sure every child is ready to learn. Join us and be part of something meaningful!

Join us for a fun night on wheels while giving back to a great cause!

📅 21+ Event – ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL

WHY DID YOU WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH UNITED

WAY? I have been involved with United Way for many years and continue to do so. I enjoy volunteering my time serving others in the community in which I support. I truly love to meet new people who are working for the same values and goals.

WHAT DOES “LIVE UNITED” MEAN TO YOU? It takes a strong community to work together for the same common goal, to live equally and support others that

may not have the same opportunities. To provide support whenever and to whomever.

From the Director's Desk (well, the desk at our Airbnb)

Hello from Canada! I am enjoying a much-needed vacation before the craziness of Stuff the Bus!

June went way too fast! It feels like school just got out, and we are already looking at cute ideas for first-day-of-school photos.

We loved seeing everyone at the 4th of July parade. It may have rained, but it was still so much fun. We handed out books, water, and so much candy. Over 35lbs of candy seems like a lot, but when it's for a parade, it goes quick! Next year, 50lbs... minimum! This was our first year decorating a float in quite some time, and I couldn't be more thankful for my board members who helped out. We showcased many of our shirts over the years, which was a nice trip down memory lane! I can't wait to see what we do next year! Happy 250th birthday, America!

With Stuff the Bus kicking off July 18th, WE CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT OUR COMMUNITY. Head over to our sign-up page and see where you can give an hour to help the children in our community. This is a great way to say their education matters. If giving an hour is not possible, we have other ways that you can support - Adopt-A-Backpack, supply donations, or just share our information.
