250 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

Join us on the Town common this Saturday for a full day of

revolutionary celebration!


We will have a booth where you can join in on the action and recite a line from the Declaration of Independence for our video project.

SUMMER YOUTH WORKSHOPS

Registration for our summer workshops is still open for students

entering grades 6-8!


July 13th-17th 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.


August 17th-21st 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The deadline to register for the July session is Monday July 6th.

MASSACHUSETTS 6TH DISTRICT

DEMOCRATIC DEBATE

Tune in to CAM Access live on Tuesday, July 28th at 6:30 p.m. for a moderated discussion between candidates seeking to become the Democratic nominee for congress in the Massachusetts 6th district.


This event is hosted by the North Andover Democratic Town Committee

FARM LEGACY SCREENINGS

We have two screening events for the Farm Legacy

documentary series this month.


Stevens Memorial Library: Tuesday July 7th 6:00 p.m.


Edgewood Retirement Community: Monday July 27th 11:00 a.m.

We will have a booth at National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4th!


This event is at a new location this year, it will be at

North Andover High School.


Stop by our booth to say hi, get some free CAM swag, as well as information about all our programs.

1776 Town Meeting: Spark of a Revolution


North Andover CAM, the North Andover Historical Society,

The North Parish Church, and Town Moderator Mark DiSalvo came together to celebrate the 250th anniversary of The Andover Resolve, our town's decision at Town Meeting to support the cause of Revolution and Independence.


Learn about the historical context for that meeting and see your neighbors participant in a reenactment of the arguments used for and against rebellion by checking out our program!

Sports Update


The Scarlet Knights sports season has come to and end. We had the opportunity to cover quite a few games this year and even expanded to providing coverage of some Greater Lawrence Tech games which will continue next year as well.


The summer doesn't stop CAM Sports.


We will be having a workshop on how to create a sports media demo reel to showcase your camera/commentary skills for college, freelancing, or internships.


This event will take place on Wednesday July 8th at 3:30 p.m.

Youth Update

The NAHS Filmmakers Club has created a video all about their club!


They worked together to learn how to use our equipment and then wrote a script, created music, and edited the video.


The club has wrapped up their meetings for the year but is ready to hit the ground running on creating a short film next school year.

Department of Public Works

The North Andover DPW stopped by our studio to create an informational video about how to properly recycle and dispose of various types of materials in Spanish.

this summer.


Those interested in shining a light on local events and telling the stories

of amazing people in our communtity can contact us to get involved

North Andover CAM Hours

We are always open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Monday through Friday.


We want to give everyone the opportunity to come and create,

so we also offer times after 6:00 p.m. by appointment.


Please reach out to members@northandovercam.org at least one week in advance

to schedule a time after 6:00 p.m.


Holidays:


While our office will be closed on the 4th of July,

our team will be on the Common all day!


Stop by for a ton of family fun from CAM, the Historical Society,

the Exchange Club, and the Festival Committee.
