July: Explore the Northern State Trail System, developed by our program partners, Skagit Trail Builders!

August: Port of Skagit Walking Trails, Bayview Business Park

September: Padilla Bay Trails, Bayview

October: Northern State Recreation Area, Sedro-Woolley

Thanks to our community partners and the team of hard-working, dedicated volunteers, Skagit Trail Builders added four new segments to the Northern State Trail System: Winfield Trail, Quarry Trail, Thompson Pond Loop Trail, and Norlum Trail (Phase 1).

During the 2025-2026 build year 440 individuals gave 2,895 hours of their time to the trails project!

Students from Varsity in Volunteerism led the way, giving 288 hours of service.

We also appreciated the excellent turn-out from the Mountaineers GoHike Team, who, in total, gave 272 hours.
