| | Youth part of the 4-H Arts Day Camp spent three days practicing and learning about different types of art including beading, sculpting, fiber arts and painting! On their last day, campers spent time at Meow Wolf's interactive art experience, Omega Mart, and later showcased their own art in a gallery walk. | | Thank you for joining us at our 4-H Summer Day Hike! Our 4-H youth in grades 6–12 enjoyed a cool summer day exploring the Old Mill Trail in the Spring Mountains, often called a "sky island" because of its high elevation and unique ecosystem that supports endemic plants and animals, including species found nowhere else in the world. Along the hike, participants learned about the area's natural history, practiced outdoor safety, and strengthened teamwork while experiencing one of Southern Nevada's most remarkable landscapes. We look forward to seeing everyone on our next outdoor adventure! | | |
Clark County 4-H youth enjoyed three fun-filled days at 4-H Camp Alamo. Campers built friendships, developed new skills, and explored the outdoors through a variety of engaging activities. They participated in kayaking, archery, leadership and teamwork challenges, rock climbing, tie-dye, creative arts, a spooky treasure hunt, and water play, while also enjoying campfires, talent shows, games, and free time with friends.
Throughout the camp, youth worked together in teams, took on leadership roles, and strengthened their confidence through hands-on experiences and cooperative challenges. The combination of adventure, creativity, and social activities created an exciting and memorable camp experience that kept campers actively engaged and excited from start to finish.
