To demonstrate Easterseals' leadership in disability advocacy, the Network will be celebrating July's Disability Pride Month and the anniversary of the ADA by sharing content and resources on what it means to be a good advocate. Easterseals friend, disability advocate, and author Emily Ladau, will be sending her book, Demystifying Disability: What to Know, What to Say, and How to Be an Ally, to National Board Members, Affiliate CEOS, and National Office staff with a personal note as a thank you for our continued commitment to advancing full equity, inclusion and access for people with disabilities, families, and communities. |
