"Woven in a Single Garment of Destiny"
Worship Leaders: Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray
Worship Associate: Rev. Ian W. Riddell
Join us as we share this recorded service from UUA president, Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray. We're all connected: an interdependent whole. Therefore, says Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray, "covenant is our religious response to our fundamental interdependence." We make promises about how to be together, and how to be in the world. We also fall short of honoring those promises, inviting us to repair and strengthen the strands of community. The choice to mend broken strands of the web is an act of faithfulness.

Join us in person in the Sanctuary at 10:00am or view the service from home at the link below.

“Kindness”
Worship Leader: Rev. Ian W. Riddell
Worship Associate: Sarita Gonzales
How do we practice kindness in a world that jostles us and pokes us and gives us so many opportunities to experience unkindness? Join us for a time of reflection, listening, practice, and renewal.

Galilee Center still needs school supplies!

Place items in or near lobby bin by July 31

  • pencils, pens, crayons, markers, colored pencils
  • rulers, erasers, school scissors, glue sticks
  • pencil pouches or cases volunteers can fill with items
  • composition books, notebooks, binders, dividers, notebook paper
  • backpacks

Thanks for all the supplies you brought July 17, which were taken to Galilee Center. They will distribute backpacks with supplies on August 4. The more supplies we are able to share with them, the less they have to spend out of their funds to fill out the backpacks. Do not assemble binders or backpacks with sets of items. Galilee volunteers will be working from grade-level lists to use your donations to fill each backpack to be identical for each student of that grade level. Galilee Center is one of the share-the-plate recipients that you selected through our congregational vote, organized by the Social Justice Committee.
Thank you!

Granted: Permission To Play

Need some cheer? Mark your calendar to bring your paints,
brushes, rocks & picnic to the UUCOD Community Room the
FIRST Wednesday in AUGUST at 11:30.
No paint? No worries; we have some to share. If you've
already made lunch plans that day, stop in before or after.
Connecting. Laughing, playing without agenda feels enriching.
For more information contact Leslie Gebhart.
A Reminder from our COVID Team:

It is important to us here in this community to create a safe and healthy environment for everyone who gathers in worship, including those who are immunocompromised or have other risk factors.

Our COVID protocols about vaccination and mask use are in place because we wish to do everything we can to protect all of us. A reminder that masks covering your mouth and nose are required to attend in-person worship, preferably KN95 masks. If you arrived without one, we have some available at the welcome desk.

Please choose to act for the health and safety of our community. Our service is always available streamed on our website if you need to observe from home.

Thank you for all you do to keep our community safe, healthy, and connected.

Volunteers Needed: Covid-19 Reponse Team

The Covid-19 response team is looking for some new members. We currently meet on Wednesday mornings via zoom. We only meet if there is new data or information to consider. Our purpose is to make recommendations to the board regarding our safety protocols in response to covid19. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please contact Linda Savard or Rev. Ian W. Riddell. Our phone numbers and email addresses are in the directory.

Thank you for considering this ministry to the church.
“We shall find renewal in rest.”
