New NLIHC Report - Now Available
The National Low-Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) released its annual report, Out of Reach: The High Cost of Housing 2020, which compares rents and wages nationally and in every state, county, and metropolitan area in the U.S.

USDA Flexibilities to Help Self-Help Housing Impacted by COVID-19
USDA Rural Development is continuing to take steps that serve customers and stakeholders during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Agency recognizes that COVID-19 has affected the timetable and delivery process for Mutual Self-Help Housing grantees. The USDA issued guidance on March 20, 2020, about steps the Department is taking to help you continue to successfully operate the Self Help Program.
 
USDA is working with Self-Help Program grantees, funding partners, real estate professionals and other interested stakeholders to maintain excellent customer service, while prioritizing the safety of our customers and staff.

Furthermore, HUD published the FY2020 SHOP NOFA on Grants.gov on June 18, 2020, with an application deadline of Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
