Discovery Music

This week our Discovery Band will open with Is He Worthy, a song based on Revelation 5 that proclaims Christ is the only One worthy to open the scroll and redeem creation. Before the Scripture Reading, the band will sing the powerful How Great Is Our God. This song is a soaring declaration of God's majesty and greatness! Both of these songs were written and recorded by Chris Tomlin.

Preschool Work Day

Notice the correct date, sorry about that!

Our preschool is getting ready for a bright, fresh start, and we need helping hands to make it happen. Clean-Up Day is coming soon, and it's a wonderful chance for families, friends, and community members to pitch in and help us create a safe, clean, cheerful space for our children. On Saturday morning, August 15th, we'll be tidying classrooms, knocking down spider webs, dusting blinds, and giving the outdoor playground some much-needed love so our friends can learn and play in a clean environment. If you are available for a couple of hours, please let Linda Ingram or Dianne Foster know. As the proverb says, "many hands make light work." Will you help?

Coming in September

We will be having a Churchwide Picnic on September 13th, 2026! There will be worship, food, and games. Mark it on your schedules now!

Vital Missions for Vital Lives

At HUMC, serving others is woven into who we are. Our congregation plays a vital role in supporting ministries that bring hope, healing, and practical help to our community and beyond. Below, you will find a list of the missions we faithfully partner with - each one an opportunity for us to live out Christ's love in real, tangible ways. If you feel called to get involved, pray for these ministries, or learn about any of them, speak with Pastor Jim or the Mission Team.

School Supplies for Heritage High School

Can you believe it! We’re already looking forward to the start of the next

school year! Heritage UMC will be collecting the following school supplies

 from July 12 to August 12 as part of our collaboration with Partners in Education for Heritage High School. The highlighted items in the list are the most critical needs for students.
