This coming Sunday, August 2, 2026, will be the 10th Sunday after Pentecost and Communion Sunday.

Our Scripture Reading will be Matthew 14. 13-21,

and the Sermon title is "A Way For All".

Hoping to see you here.

Discovery Music

This week our Discovery Band will open with Is He Worthy, a song based on Revelation 5 that proclaims Christ is the only One worthy to open the scroll and redeem creation. Before the Scripture Reading, the band will sing the powerful How Great Is Our God. This song is a soaring declaration of God's majesty and greatness! Both of these songs were written and recorded by Chris Tomlin.

Hoping to see you here!

Preschool Work Day

Notice the correct date, sorry about that!

Our preschool is getting ready for a bright, fresh start, and we need helping hands to make it happen. Clean-Up Day is coming soon, and it's a wonderful chance for families, friends, and community members to pitch in and help us create a safe, clean, cheerful space for our children. On Saturday morning, August 15th, we'll be tidying classrooms, knocking down spider webs, dusting blinds, and giving the outdoor playground some much-needed love so our friends can learn and play in a clean environment. If you are available for a couple of hours, please let Linda Ingram or Dianne Foster know. As the proverb says, "many hands make light work." Will you help?

Coming in September

We will be having a Churchwide Picnic on September 13th, 2026! There will be worship, food, and games. Mark it on your schedules now!

 Details to follow.

Stitched in Christ

The Connection Group decided that for their Mission Project, they would knit or crochet hats and scarves for the Heritage High School students through Food For Thought. They are asking for donations of knitted and crocheted hats and scarves. If you knit or crochet, they need your help. You can use any color or any pattern you want to. If you need yarn, contact Cindy Dolan @ mamamoo913@aol.com.

Fall and cool weather are just around the corner, so let's get this done for those students.
