In Case of Severe Weather...
If there are thunderstorms, and we cannot safely worship outside, worship will be live streamed from the sanctuary. A notice will go out via email, put on the church's website & Facebook account and personal phone calls will go to those who do not have internet connections.
|
Sunday's Worship Service is streamed live...
We can all worship together -- You choose if you will join us for
drive-in worship or live on our Facebook page.
The worship service will still be posted on the website for you to watch anytime.

Please read all the ways our church is working toward the next steps in the COVID-19 process.
- COVID-19 Updates on the website
- Hospitality Station: On Sundays a station will be set up outside with a limited number of bulletins, masks, individually pre-packaged communion kits, and hand sanitizer.
- Sign-In and Sign-Out Sheet: If you are in the building, please sign in and out. This sheet allows us to care for each other in case of COVID-19 exposure and is a state requirement for churches. The sheet is in the Narthex.
- SPLC's Congregational Care Team: In addition to fellowship hour and phone calls, the Congregational Care Team will plan ways for us to be in fellowship while physically distanced. Please let Pastor Sarah know if you'd like to join this team or if you have an idea to share.
- SPLC's Safety Team: This team will research and make recommendations for the safe return to the building. Please let Pastor Sarah know if you'd like to serve on this team.
- Contact Melissa and Pastor Sarah via email or phone. Beginning next week, when you call to the office phone number during regular office hours will be forwarded to Melissa. Hours: T, W, Th 9am-4pm, F 9am-12pm.

NURSE'S CORNER
We are blessed to have knowledgeable and caring nurses in our congregation! They have some words of advice for us:
Happy 4th of July!! As we head into a very hot and humid weekend where many people are going to be outside, remember to stay hydrated! According to the Mayo Clinic drinking about 15.5 cups / 3.7L per day for men and 11.5 cups/ s.7 L for women is sufficient daily, but heat and humidity cause people to require more than average. Water is of course the best option but tea, milk, and sports drinks are also a good source. Some foods have 100% weight in water such as watermelon or spinach. Enjoy your 4th of July and stay healthy! For more information check out
https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthyeating/ in depth/ water
Remember to pray for these nurses and all those on the front lines fighting the coronavirus.
