Update: Discussions To Reopen The Lord Of Life Campus
Last week, the Lord of Life Task Force sent out a survey to assess the congregation's thoughts and feelings about reopening the building and grounds to all congregation members and visitors.
The committee is currently reviewing the results of the survey and formulating specific plans and protocols for reopening the building and conducting on-site worship. So far, we have received a lot of information and appreciate everyone's input. Our hope is to have a comprehensive plan completed within the next few weeks.
Right now, the current plan has remote worship being broadcast from the sanctuary of Lord of Life on YouTube and Facebook. An earlier time (perhaps 10:00 AM) is also being discussed. Only worship participants will be permitted in the building with all current virus-related guidelines being followed.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Sandy O'Neal or Rick Krause.

A Message from Breanne Tomlinson, VBS Director
After much prayerful discussion, a decision has been made to have no Vacation Bible School this summer. There were remaining questions concerning safety and logistics which contributed to making this decision. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support regarding the cancellation.

A Request For Help:
Keeping Our Building And Grounds In Tip-Top Shape
We are in need for some volunteers to do some work around church grounds. Dennis Yates our Property Manager is keeping up with as much as one person can, but there are so many tasks that additional help is needed. He cannot do everything alone. The immediate tasks are:
- Cleaning Gutters
- Pulling Weeds (And their roots!)
- Painting interior of fire exit doors
- Putting liners down in flower beds
- Pulling weeds (And their roots!) in the playground
If you cannot do the physical work, please consider helping with a monetary contribution to buy needed mulch.
Call or email Dennis to volunteer. Any help given will greatly be appreciated!

Quilt Backings Needed!!!!
Lord Of Life Quilt Ministry
The Quilting Ministry members are gearing up for another major round of quilt making. We will receive a donation from Thrivent to purchase batting, however, there is a need for backing material. We normally use bedsheets that are either donated or purchased for this purpose.
If anyone would like to donate new or used sheets in good condition, it would be greatly appreciated. We have placed a labeled container at the entrance to the FDC/Grace Place next to the containers for the Christian Caring Center and Bridge of Peace in which
you can place the sheets. Thank you for your help with our Ministry!
(Gloria Brosious leads the Lord Of Life Quilt Ministry. If you would like to contact Gloria, a link to her email is below.)

Continuing Your Contributions
Your continuing financial support is essential to maintain the Ministries of Lord Of Life. Your envelopes can be mailed to the church (1 Winchester Court, Tabernacle, NJ 08088) and Simply Giving remains in place.
Offerings can also be made via a secure website and cell phone app. More information about these ways to contribute can be found on the church's website. The link is below.
Despite our building being closed, the work of the church is going on. Our Vice Pastor and the staff are actively engaged, and the need to pay bills and the mortgage continue. Prayerfully consider continuing with your regular contributions.

Charity Contribution News
Here Are 4 Ideas For You To Consider Regarding Donations To Lord Of Life:
1. The CARES Act is a federal program instituted to counter the economic affects of the Covid-19 outbreak. It allows a charitable contribution of $300 even if you do not itemize deductions. You should check with your tax preparer for more information.
2. A directly mailed contribution to Lord Of Life from your financial institution of an IRA withdrawal will not be considered as income. Certain rules do apply. Check with your tax advisor and your financial institution for details as to eligibility and how to make this possible.
3. This quarter, Amazon Smile has donated $51.93 to Lord Of Life. Since our church has been included in the Amazon Smile program, we have received $1,115.48. If you buy from Amazon, consider signing up for the Lord Of Life Amazon Smile Charity program. There is no cost to you or the church. Use the following link to get instructions about enrolling:
4. Are you a Thrivent Member? This could pertain to you! Thrivent has a program called "Thrivent Choice." Some members have what are called "Thrivent Choice Dollars" associated with their membership and accounts. Choice Dollars are funds that Thrivent will give to our church. There is no cost to you or our church. You must sign up for Choice Dollars to be donated. Do this by signing into your account on the Thrivent website. Once enrolled, you must continue to check into your account and tell Thrivent to send any Choice Dollars that have accumulated since the last donation. This should be done several times each year. The link below will give you more information about Thrivent Choice Dollars and how to sign up.
