2021 Tax-Exempt Bond Application
Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) will open the Universal Funding Application (UFA) for multifamily developments utilizing Tax-Exempt Bonds (TEB) and 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (no KHC gap funds) on Monday, August 3, 2020. This is an open window application with no specific submission deadline; however, please note that a pre-application is required, and if approved, the applicant will complete the full application and follow the same timeline as other KHC-financed projects, as outlined in the 2021 Multifamily Guidelines.

If you currently have a 2020 TEB pre-application started in UFA, this application must be submitted by Friday, July 31, 2020. If it is not submitted by this date, a new pre-application will need to be started using the 2021 TEB application.

The underwriting model to be used with the 2021 TEB open window applications is located on KHC's website under Development, Multifamily, Underwriting Resources.
