Do you love to sing? If you’ve ever wanted to sing with the Dayspring Choir, summer is the perfect time to jump in. Our Summer Choir sings at the 10:00am service on the first and third Sundays of the month—with no weekday rehearsals! Just come at 9:20am on the morning of the service to learn the song and warm up. The Church and Society meeting will be held this Tuesday, August 5th, from 5:30–6:30pm in the Palo Verde Room and on Zoom. Children's and Youth Choir rehearsals start this Wednesday, August 6! Children (K-6th) rehearse from 6:00 to 6:45 and the Youth (7-12) rehearse from 6:45 to 7:30 with Ms. Julie in Room 206. If you would like more information, please email JulieAnne Weissberg.

August 10 is the next Second Sunday open house! Get ready for a morning filled with food, music, and unique experiences for all ages! Chef Nikki is planning a new, delicious breakfast, we’ll have live music in the Fellowship Hall again, with workshops and spiritual activities throughout the morning - including our new drum circle! We’d love to see you there next Sunday!

We will host Family Promise starting Sunday, August 10, providing temporary shelter for displaced families while they search for permanent housing. You can help by setting up Sunday school rooms into bedrooms before they arrive for the week, preparing a meal, hosting an evening activity (yoga, music, games, crafts, etc), providing food items for the week, clean up by laundering linens and restoring our Sunday school rooms at the end of the week. Please email Tammy or Kathleen for more information, or watch for the Family Promise sign up table on Sunday mornings.

Please bring in water bottles, electrolyte drinks, and nutritional snacks to support Tempe Cooling Centers this 2025 summer. We're also collecting hygiene products, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, socks, board games and books.
