Pastor's Word of the Week

Dear Church Family,

What an exciting time to be a part of our church! Thank you for letting me be a part of it!

The church voted in our quarterly business meeting this last Sunday to create a search committee for our open Minister of Music and Worship position. Aaron has done a stupendous job for us and I am so grateful for him, but it is time for us to move forward with our search.

I answered two questions at the meeting, and I thought I would share my answers here since they are common among our members:

- Are we ready to do this, especially financially?

It is true that our giving is not at the level we would all like it to be; however, I believe we are at a high enough level to be able to cover the salary of this position responsibly and I am hopeful that with continued growth and giving, we will be where we need to be to meet our needs by the time the person is on the field. Furthermore, we are stretching Aaron thin and we need to respect his calling to his full-time position at the school. I believe it is time.

- What will be the responsibilities of the job?

The position is solely a Music and Worship position. We will not be combining it with another ministry role. Of course, if the person God leads our way has gifting and skills, we would want them to use them in the greater work of the church, but we believe that for now, both because of budget constraints and a need for focus on all things worship (Worship team, Choir, Audio/visual, Creative Arts, and Instrumentals), that this is the way to go.

So, how can you help?

- Pray for our search committee:

Chris Phillips

Christina Todd

Roxana Bolton

Paula Mutina

Colby Glazer

Aaron Porter

Lydia Bleakney

- Continue to give to the regular budget of our church.

- Be open to the ways God might lead us in this process and beyond.

- Pray that God would, even now, be preparing the person He has for us for this

position and that the transition would be one that is a blessing for them.

- Pray that through the process and in the years ahead, God would be glorified!

I love you all!

Pastor Tim

THANKS FOR GIVING

June 21st, 2026

There will be No Financials this week, sorry for the inconvience.

Need a place during the service?

Parents, we're so glad you're here! Children are always welcome to remain in the main auditorium with you. Their sounds, wiggles, and occasional chatter are a joyful reminder that families are part of our church community.

Whether you are a parent or just someone who needs a different space, if, at any point in the service, you feel the need to separate yourself from the larger group, we have a Family Room available right next to the Coffee Bar. The service is livestreamed there, giving those who need it a little more room to be themselves as they continue participating in worship. After the service, we would love for you to return to the auditorium or fellowship areas to connect with others.

We're grateful you're worshiping with us today!

Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
