And Finally...

Wait a Second, Budweiser... Go Fourth! is Our Slogan

The attached image of actor Bill Pullman reprising his Independence Day role is from an advertising campaign that ran four years ago. On July 1, 2021, Budweiser temporarily replaced “This Bud’s For You” with “Go Fourth, America”. The nation was emerging from COVID, and the ad used a play on words with Go Fourth and the Fourth of July to promote moving forward. That was prior to re-districting, so many of our current readers never saw our newsletter photo or Facebook posting of the Budweiser image. At the time, we jokingly took strong exception to Anheuser-Busch “borrowing” our slogan by suggesting copyright infringement. Happy Independence Day, and Go Fourth!
