Here's to many more!
Silent Movie Night -- WOW!
Silent Movie Night was a great success! John Partridge was a charming host for the inaugural foray into silent movies at Trinity.
Fun, interesting, and informative, John's pre-show "lecture" lacked any shred of academic drudge, and was instead, rollicking stories illuminating the backgrounds of the people and films on the playbill Saturday evening. He has promised another evening of silent movie fun in the future, so please keep your eyes peeled for notices!

Bonus! The popcorn was delicious!
Trinity Mindfulness Group
Meets Thursdays at 10:30am
Trinity's Mindfulness Group is an open group, and welcomes all to participate! Please consider joining in with prayers, sharing, meditation, and constructive conversation.

The group meets at Trinity with coffee and goodies in an informal circle where everyone can listen and share!
Masks are requested for anyone who has not been vaccinated.
Did I mention coffee? Of course there's coffee!
Conserving Water Is Easy
  • Turn off the Tap - when brushing or lathering.
  • Shower Power - short, less than 5 minutes - even turn off water when lathering!
  • Full Dishwashers Only - and scrape into trash not under a tap with running water.
  • Sweep driveways, sidewalks, and steps rather than hosing off.
  • Wash the car with water from a bucket, or consider using a commercial car wash that recycles water.
  • Water in the morning or at dusk to reduce evaporation.

Words from Presiding Bishop, Michael Curry...

Baptism is not only about renunciation and standing against. It’s also about standing for someone and something. It’s about a committed life of ongoing repentance and revival in the best sense of those words. You know that the word repent means metanoia. It means to turn. To repent, to live a life, a constantly repenting life, is to turn away from that which is unloving. To turn away from that which brings darkness into the world instead of light. To turn away from that which hurts or harms, and to turn to Jesus Christ, and his way of love as our way of life.

Trinity Quilt Square for the Diocesan Quilt
Christina Van Krugel and Laurell Meredith have shared their wonderful talents on a beautiful quilt square that will be combined with quilt squares from all around the parish to create a quilt that will reside in our Bishop's office at the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California. Our Bishop invited each parish to contribute a square to commemorate our coming together, once again, at the Diocesan convention this fall, to conduct the business of the Diocese, and reconnect after the fires and pandemic of the past two years. The theme for the upcoming convention is "Gathered at the River, Healed by the Spirit'" an apt theme for what we have been through as a community of faith.
The quilt top will be sewn at the Diocesan Convention - volunteers are invited to participate! The stitching together of these quilt blocks is a symbol of our literal reconnecting as the Body of Christ.

Thank You Christina and Laurell!

From Jim and Linda Rawls
Hello again dear family and friends, I've created a blog to provide updates on Linda. Here's the link:
Peace and Love, JJR
Mission Accomplished!

According to Jim: Linda received her donor’s stem cells Wednesday afternoon and all is well. The two-hour infusion of 450 milliliters (through her chest port) concluded at 7:15 pm, supervised by oncologist Dr Wang and Nurse Anna. The wee patient has had no adverse reaction to the transplant. Hallelujah!
