The measure of our faith. Amos has a vision from God of a plumb line, used to measure how straight the walls and floors are in a building. God tells Amos that there will be a plumb line set in the midst of the people. How will they measure their faith? How do we measure ours? Jesus has a clear answer for us...get ready to hear it.
Holy and gracious One,
we measure ourselves by many different standards. Your Son gives us a new standard, a measure of mercy and love. Prepare our hearts to align with these. In His name we pray, Amen.
