TEONICKA IS BACK!!!

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him..” Psalm 34:8 NIV

It is our absolute JOY to welcome Teonicka Russell back to the Great River Region! Having served the GRR in the past, Teonicka brings with her a wealth of knowledge, established relationships throughout the GRR, an expertise in technology, and a love of God and God’s people! When the regional office was short-staffed in June, Teonicka graciously offered to assist Kristen with a variety of tasks to keep the region on track. We all owe Teonicka a world of thanks for her spirit of generosity and her enthusiastic “YES” to return to the Great River Region. God is good…all the time! And all the time…God is good!

Teonicka will serve as the primary contact for the Great River Regional Office. Her responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

-         Processing Accounts Payables & Receivables

-         Overseeing Alex Yearbook Forms & Reports

-         Providing Administrative Support for Regional Board Meetings

-         Preparing Reports & Legal Documents

-         Trouble Shooting Technology Questions

-         Creating Online Learning Systems

-         Organizing All Office Operations

-         Maintaining Search & Call Congregational & Ministerial Profiles

And while we’re communicating Teonicka’s role in the GRR, it might be helpful to also revisit Kristen Beach’s role. Her responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

-         Providing Leadership to GRR Ministry Programs:

Disciples Women, Men, RCOM, Regional Elders and Clergy Fellowship Group

-         Overseeing Logistics for Regional Ministry Programs

-         Researching Congregational Resources

-         Supervising the GRR Administrative Assistant

-         Coordinating & Producing Program Books and Flyers, etc.

-         Providing Support for All Regional Youth Events

-         Providing Leadership for Youth Commission, Youth Task Force and Camp Directors

-         Overseeing All Areas of Camping Program, Including Registrations, Resources, Financial Receipts and

Necessary Paperwork for Staff & Volunteers

These two women are true gifts to the Great River Region! Please consider familiarizing yourself with their different roles so that you will know which one to contact for your particular needs! They are here to serve you, the faithful members of the Great River Region! Please join me in welcoming Teonicka back to the GRR family as we also thank Kristen for her tireless efforts, especially during these past six weeks.

We’re on this journey of faith together…and I remain ever-so-grateful for these faithful companions in the Great River Regional office!

                                                                               Peace & Blessings,

                                                                               Alison Robuck
