Hello, O'Hara Families!
We hope you are all having a wonderful summer and making many happy memories. While the school year still feels somewhat distant, we wanted to take this opportunity to share some important updates with you regarding OSHA/ODE requirements for the 2021-2022 school year.
On June 20, 2021 OSHA lifted the rules regarding face coverings and social distancing as part of their COVID-19 protocols. You can view a full statement from their website here. Initial drafts of new ODE guidelines have been released. You can view them, along with a press release, here. We expect more changes to come in the next several weeks, along with updates to CDC guidance.
We do know that students will be in school full-time, 5 days per week.
We want to thank you all for your patience and support as we have navigated the pandemic over the last 16 months. We continue to remain vigilant in doing what is best for the safety and comfort of our students. As things progress this summer, we hope to have more concrete information about what our 2021-2022 school year will look like. Since many government regulations are still not final, we have not made any official decisions on the status of our COVID protocols for the 2021-2022 school year. We will continue to keep everyone informed as quickly as possible.
Thank you again for your patience and support. We look forward to seeing all of our families back in the building this Fall.
Sincerely,
Tammy Conway
