Imagine this: A sunny summer day. A slight breeze tickles your skin. The sun’s rays gently melt in and relax you. A warm, fragrant just-baked quiche is set before you. You inhale. The scent of butter and cheese permeates the air. You close your eyes and are taken away…for a moment.

Urth’s Quiche of the Day is warm, fragrant and authentic. We use only the finest imported French butter, and our eggs are the best available—coming from a local, family-owned farm directly to Urth Caffé fresh every day. The farm is completely old-school with truly free-range, vegetarian fed, happy chickens that produce the best tasting eggs with a bright, vibrant yolk.

Delicate. Sublime. Rich, yet not overpowering—our quiche is always served warm and accompanied by a fresh green salad laced with a tangy vinaigrette.* A rotating selection of our Quiche of the Day is offered throughout the year, and our current offering is Tomato Mozzarella made with eggs, cream, Roma tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, parmesan and oregano.

He was happy to share a batch of Rainforest™ with Urth Caffé’s heirloom, organic coffee lovers, thanks to a shipment of coffee beans from Worka Chelbesa, a community in coffee’s birthplace, Ethiopia.

Urth Caffé Pasadena is an architectural marvel. A gem situated in the Arts District of Pasadena that not only reflects the Mission Revival architecture of the area but seamlessly blends Spanish and Moorish influences as well.

Meticulously designed over a period of 5 years with great attention to craft and detail—the authenticity and craftsmanship is definitely felt when you walk into this very special Urth Caffé.

The design inspiration came from Urth Co-Founder, Jilla Berkman, and was inspired by the design of the Pasadena Playhouse and the surrounding playhouse district historic buildings. Summer is officially upon us. And with it warm beautiful days! Refresh with one of Urth Caffé’s delicious smoothies—made from fresh seasonal fruits of the day such as strawberries, bananas, kiwis, pineapple, watermelon and mango (please ask for seasonal availability). And you can request the added option of boba*!

Perfect for warmer days, though our Paradise Salad is vegan*, non-vegans love all of its seasonal vegetables and fruits, fresh peaches, cannellini beans, walnuts and wild rice, all tossed in our tangy pomegranate dressing, topped with vegan almond cheese. Urth's warm Pita bread is available upon your request.
