Flood Nomination Extension & Upcoming Webinar
TWDB Extends Flood Nomination Deadline.
The Texas Water Development Board has extended its deadline to  July 17  for regional flood planning group member nominations. While TWDB received more than 450 applications, there are not yet nominations for every one of the interest categories for every planning region, as indicated by the white squares in the summary table. 

Use the online member nomination form   to submit a nomination.

  • One Water WebinarTWCA is hosting a webinar on the One Water movement and potential regulatory impediments in Texas, to be hosted by Robert Mace from the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment and Jennifer Walker from the National Wildlife Federation. TCEQ ANNOUNCEMENT. Earl Lott has been appointed the new Deputy Director of the Office of Water at TCEQ, filling in the role vacated by L’Oreal Stepney when she became a Deputy Executive Director of the agency. Earl began his career at TCEQ in 1995 as an Engineering Specialist in the Petroleum Storage Tank Division. Since that time, he went on to serve in several key management roles with the agency including: Team Leader of the Agriculture Team in the Water Quality Division, Manager of the Water Utilities and Districts Section, and Assistant Deputy in the Office of Permitting, Registration, and Remediation. For the past 12 years, Earl has served as Director of the Waste Permits Division. We are looking forward to welcoming Earl into the TWCA family.
