LWVUS is a national partner organization for Good Trouble Lives On July 17. Local Leagues are welcome to organize and/or attend community events to maximize local impact. Coined by civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis, "Good Trouble" is the action of coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change. Wondering how you can use your worries about the state of our nation to create meaningful change? With your help, we can pass laws in the Commonwealth to defend against federal threats. Now more than ever, it is critical that advocates and activists focus their sights on state-level action that will protect us from poor federal policy decisions. Join us in person for our once-per-session lobby day, Day on the Hill, Thursday, September 18 at 11 AM in Room 428 at the State House, and turn it into something meaningful. Legislative Rules Update

Exciting news! The Massachusetts Legislature has agreed to a new set of Joint Rules for the first time since 2019. LWVMA has advocated for many of these changes for several sessions. Read our latest letter HERE. We’re especially excited to see the public hearing notice expanded to ten days and joint committee votes being posted to the website. READ MORE

• LWV Portal Users Guide – This guide is for members seeking simplified, step-by-step guidance on how to use the Portal's basic features, this user-friendly version is the perfect place to start.
