City of Mtn. View Wants Your Opinion on a "Healthier Environment" (7/25) - WIN A $100 VISA GIFT CARD!
Dear Mountain View Business Community,
Your voice is the most important thing shaping the Mountain View you want to be a part of, and  we need your input to improve our community, in areas such as transportation, energy, and waste.
What kinds of City of Mountain View programs would help  YOU or  YOUR BUSINESS be more "green" or sustainable? What additional actions would you like to take if you could? What's preventing you from doing more?
We invite you to COME SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS at our community EVENT and through our SURVEY.
***   Win a VISA gift card up to $100!   ***
Please join us at the event:
  • Wednesday, July 25, 2018, 6:30-8:30p.m.
  • Mountain View Senior Center Social Hall (266 Escuela Ave.)
  • Light refreshments will be served
  • Please RSVP here
Irrespective of whether you can attend the event, but especially if you can't, please  TELL US WHAT YOU THINK through our   sustainability survey. Anyone who provides their name and email in the survey will be entered into a drawing to win up to a $100 VISA gift card (6 prizes from $25-$100). The survey deadline for the drawing is Tuesday, July 31, 11:59p.m.
Your input is critical to help us shape City programs to reach our sustainability goals and  improve the quality of life for everyone in Mountain View.
We look forward to seeing you at the  event and hearing your thoughts through our  survey.

Business Issues & Public Policy Meeting
BIPP (Business Issues & Public Policy) is the branch of the Chamber that advocates for the business community. BIPP is like the eyes, ears, and voice of local business. The decisions that the BIPP committee makes are presented to the Chamber's Board of Directors. The Chamber BOD then decides and votes on whether or not they will take a position on an issue, and what that position will be.

Anyone can attend BIPP meetings, but you need to attend 3 of them and become an official BIPP member, before you are allowed to vote.

How are decisions made in Mountain View, and how do you, as a business owner or resident, make sure your voice is heard? By attending BIPP meetings!

Next BIPP Meeting:
August 8, 2018
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
