Monday Movies at the Museum

It's our second summer movie showing this year with Elf on Monday, July 11th. Doors open at 6:00pm and the movie begins at 6:30. We'll have snacks to purchase, so bring a blanket, chair, and your friends, and join us! It's only $2 per person.

Sunflower Summer

Visit KAM and 80 other attractions for FREE all summer long through the Sunflower Summer program. Parents and students can register, download the app, and start checking these partners out! It's simple and will make for a great summer of fun and learning.

The Thunderbirds are back in Wichita on September 24-25, 2022! Join us for a Airshow Party at KAM! Bring your vehicle, park in the field, hang out on the tarmac, and have fun. We will have some food trucks, bounce houses, and of course entertainment from the airplanes.

The cost is $20 a carload for up to 12 passenger van. It does not include access to the 2nd & 3rd floor or the control tower. More details next month!

Little Aviators 2022

One of the most exciting programs we offer is our Little Aviators Program. Aimed at bringing kids to the museum to get hands on experience with the history of Kansas aviation, and every Friday allows us that opportunity.

Thanks to our partners, The Mattress Hub, we are able to offer this program free to all kids 12 and under, as well as a free admission for one adult per household and 50% off from additional adults.

Little Aviators is held every Friday from 10a-12p. Come out and enjoy a day at KAM.

Senior Thursday Series

We are excited to have local author, Myrna Messer, talking about her experiences and book called the Boeing Gypsies. You'll learn about these families that traveled working on the missile systems.

From all of us here at KAM, we want to take a second and wish you and your family a very wonderful and safe Independence Day! We are thankful for the freedoms we enjoy in this beautiful country. We also want to say thank you to all those who have come out so far this year. We enjoy seeing each of you out here, and are excited to be opening our Women of Aviation Exhibit on August 19th! Keep an eye out for details on this special event in the coming weeks.
