Rockport Art Festival

July 4 - 5, 2026

Founded in 1969, the Rockport Art Festival began as a celebration of creativity in Rockport, Texas—then an emerging art colony along the Texas Coast. Today, it has become a beloved summer tradition, bringing together more than 120 artists and over 10,000 collectors and visitors each year.

The festival plays an important role in supporting the mission of Rockport Center for the Arts. Proceeds help provide free youth art education programs, support local and regional artists, and sustain exhibitions, outreach, and community events throughout the year. Through these efforts, the festival helps ensure that the arts remain accessible, vibrant, and deeply connected to the community.

The Art Festival takes place at the Rockport Festival Grounds located at 1500 E. Laurel St. and will feature over 120 artists. Open Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm with artists from across the nation showcasing their masterpieces in a variety of mediums and styles at this juried fine-arts event.
