Anchored for a picnic

Hi Shipmates,
We're having a great time sailing this season with plenty of wind, sun and excitement. We are enjoying delicious meals
both aboard....

...and at our picnic on the beach each trip.

What fun we've had.  The crew has been providing at least one evening of music on nearly every trip and Nick
sometimes entertains us with his firesticks after our picnic.

Most amazing is that all six of our crew have been here before.

We won the Great Schooner Race this year as the overall winner of the "Cutty Sark Cup" and first in our class!

It was the Heritage's day.  We watched the wind, tide, clouds and water to take every advantage, then adjusted the sails and left the other schooners behind.
Our crew won the the award in the small boat race with "Archie" last year.  They came in first this year with costumes and just good fun, spirit and volume.

With some frivolity at the awards ceremony, a winner's pennant was ceremoniously draped around Capt. Doug's shoulders while Capt. Linda held the race cups.

Check out the July MWA enewsletter for more about us and the race!!!
We have just a few more trips this year and a little space if you have time for a great sailing adventure.
Wishing you the best!
