Caring for Workers through Intentional Programs 

Care for mission workers is the driving force behind One Challenge’s summer programs. Whether training or retreat, OC focuses on healthy individuals who feel heard and understood.

Someone said that every good idea eventually boils down to work. I think it should be noted that the work to complete a project is not always done by the person with the idea, but work eventually will be done if that fantastic concept is ever to see the light of day and improve lives.

I started the summer (officially) by taking a few days with the Lord and my bike in a beautiful place near home in Arenzano, Italy. I had some projects (namely this one) to develop, but I had been sensing an invitation from the Lord to take some time to breathe deeply, be quiet, and open my hands and heart to receive from my God. This year One Challenge celebrates its 70th year of global ministry. With that we are also celebrating some faithful U.S. Mobilization Center (US-MC) leaders who have served for decades and are passing the baton to younger colleagues. We know that leadership succession is important.
