We are sad to announce the cancellation of this year's Sounds of Centerra. This summer event is one of our favorite traditions we look forward to sharing with the Northern Colorado community each year. However, to best support the safety and well being of our friends and neighbors, we made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 summer concert series and look forward to gathering again for music and good times on Chapungu’s Great Lawn, next summer.

We want to be certain that our events allow our community to gather together in a safe and enjoyable manner. We will continue to evaluate each community event based on the current COVID-19 health concerns and parameters outlined by the CDC , State of Colorado and Larimer County.

In the meantime, we are working diligently to identify alternative ways to bring our community together in socially responsible ways during these challenging times. Stay tuned and follow us on social media for more information to be shared in the months ahead.

For example, this weekend we are thrilled to partner with City of Loveland and Larimer County for the 4th of July Drive-In Fireworks Show to provide accessible spectator viewing locations within Centerra, click here to view the map. Please take a moment to educate yourself in advance of driving to one of these viewing locations. Patience and masks are highly recommended if you plan to venture out or tune in online to enjoy the show from the comfort of your home via the City's live facebook feed.

In addition to celebrating Independence Day in July, we encourage you to visit High Plains Environmental Center's website to take advantage of upcoming outdoor education events and don’t forget our expansive outdoor Centerra trail system and Chapungu Sculpture Park are open daily for families to explore art , bird watch, visit native flower gardens and immerse yourself in our beautiful Certified National Wildlife community.
