$3.2 Million Workforce Innovation Grant awarded to Waupaca for Workforce Transportation
New London – Governor Tony Evers presented Jeff Mikorski, Executive Director of the Waupaca County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC) with a $3.2 million Workforce Innovation Grant to implement a workforce transportation pilot program. The WCEDC, with the support of the County and Waupaca municipalities, submitted the round 2 Workforce Innovation Grant application. The application was supported with the transportation expertise from community organizations such as Lutheran Social Services (Make the Ride Happen), the New London, Waupaca, and Clintonville Chambers of commerce, Feonix Mobility Rising, the New London Thadecare CHAT team, East Central Regional Planning Commission, and the UWM Extension office. In addition, corporate partners Tyson Foods, Waupaca Foundry, Walker Forge, Kolbe & Kolbe Windows helped support the State application.

VFW Post 664 monthly meeting: July 19th at 6 pm, but please arrive by 5:45 pm for seating. Address: 10 W. Morning Glory Drive, Clintonville.

The VFW Post 664 is available for rent to the community (includes the hall, kitchen and meeting room areas) for $125.00 a day, the kitchen use fee is $25.00 a day and the Post clean-up fee is $30.00 a day.  Prices – see below. The clean-up fee will be returned to the individual who rented the Post, if everything is clean and put back in the location.
 
a. Post 664 Membership Rental Fee: $75.00         
           b. Non-Member Rental Fee: $125.00           
           c. Non-Member Kitchen Fee: $25.00          
           d. Clean-up Fee for Post 664 Rental Use: $30.00   
THURSDAYS from 5:30pm-6:30 PM
Activities will take place at Olen Park behind our business or inside Optimal Living Studio
• Only $5 to attend a class.
A wide variety of different fitness activities will be offered.
• Cardio drumming, walking/ light jogging/
Strength building, deep breathing/ meditation, etc.
• Babysitters will be available for small children.
• We are offering a Healthy Hour / Happy Hour from 3-7pm
• Featuring our 24 fitness line and regular line menu items.
